In a bold act the tax collector Zacchaeus climbed up a sycamore tree to elevate himself above the crowd. The man who’s attention he was competing for was none other than Jesus, and he got it. Through this encounter and the dinner which followed, Zacchaeus made steps towards remedying his crooked lifestyle. In many ways this short taxman has much to teach many through his eagerness to meet with God and respond to his love.
